The Association of Certified Project Accountants (ACPA) currently
offer exemptions to all ICEA Members and students...
The Association of Certified Project Accountants will offer full exemptions to
all ICEA Members and Students on a qualification for qualification basis. This
exciting new development includes the following existing qualifications;
- FCEA (Fellow of the Institute of Cost & Executive Accountants)
- ACEA (Associate of the Institute of Cost & Executive Accountants)
- FAFC (Fellow of the Association of Financial Controllers &
Administrators)
- AAFC (Associate of the Association of Financial Controllers &
Administrators)
- FACB (Fellow of the Association of Certified Book-Keepers)
- AACB (Associate of the Association of Certified Book-Keepers)
- TCA (Technician in Costing & Accounting)
The ACPA grades of membership for which the above qualifications will gain
full exemption are listed below;
- FCCEA (Fellow Certified Corporate Executive Accountant)
- Full exemption will be granted to existing FCEA's and FAFC's
- After exemptions have been granted you will be entitled to use the
prestigious FCCEA letters after your name and describe yourself as a
Fellow
Certified Corporate Executive Accountant
- ACCEA (Associate Certified Corporate Executive Accountant)
- Full exemption will be granted to existing ACEA's and AAFC's

ACCEA letters after your name and describe yourself as an
Associate Certified Corporate Executive Accountant
- Adv. Dip. A. - Advanced Diploma in Accounting (Advanced Accounting
Technician)
- Full exemption will be granted to existing FACB's and TCA's

prestigious Adv. Dip. A. letters after your name and describe yourself as an
Advanced Accounting Technician
- Grad. Dip. A. - Graduate Diploma in Accounting (Graduate Accounting
Technician)
- Full exemption will be granted to existing AACB's

prestigious Grad. Dip. A. letters after your name and describe yourself as a
Graduate Accounting Technician
Explanation of the equivalence of the qualifications in context of the ACPA
exams...
The table below demonstrates the exemption offered by ACPA against your
particular ICEA qualification. For example; Paul Wong ACEA, is an existing
Associate member of ICEA. Paul would like to know what exemption he is entitled
to before he joins ACPA. Paul looks along the row titled "Existing
Qualification" until he finds "ACEA" he then moves up one to the "ACPA Grade
Offered" row to identify his new qualification, which in this case is ACCEA
(Associate Certified Corporate Executive Accountant).
“X” denotes that the ACPA examination subject will be
exempted for holders of the qualification listed in the "Existing Qualification"
